Hello! So I'm a little bleary. Spent the night at a friend's house, went bowling, stayed up late.
So the month of Harry Potter has come and (almost) gone. This fact has almost reduced me to tears many times.
DEATHLY HALLOWS SPOILERS DO NOT READ ON IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SPOILED!!!!!!
(I'M SERIOUS)
LIKED:
~ Snape plot line. Ahhh just the fact that he loved Lily and also really loved Harry... it just changes everything you ever thought about the man (unless you knew it all along.. lol) But to me, his death and fininding out about his tortured life and the sacrifices he made was one of the most touching things in the book
~That Snape's patronus was a doe
~Ron/Hermione stuff..... what's not to love? ^^
~Molly's line of course... the entire HP fanbase pretty much exploded over that one ^^
~George's ear
~Dumbledore's troubled past. At first I was like, "WUUUUT? NOWAYZ HE'S DUMBLEDORE HE'S TOOO AWESOME." but it made him more human and gave him more depth
~Bellatrix finally dying....
~Harry confronting Voldemort at the very end... oh man he called him Tom Riddle... too cool for words
~everything else... 'cept the stuff I don't like
DISLIKED:
~Fred dying ;_;
~Ginny sitting around doing NOTHING the entire expanse of the book.
~Lupin in this book... I just felt like he was OOC the whole book... but idk...
~Not finding out about the veil, the department of mysteries, or a deep dark secret of Petunia
~Lucius not dying. I felt he should have.
All in all I loved the book, thought it was amazing, tragic, and appropriately wrapped up the series. So now it's gone, and I don't even know if it's really hit me yet. We'll see. ;_;
Gonna go clean my roon now.
